4th of July Tribute to America's Contribution to the Rock Era

Over 900 songs will load onto the web site at different times during the day.  It will take approximately 50 hours to hear all of them--take through the weekend to enjoy them!  To find them in the days to come, you can either click on the posts on the left-hand side of the web site under July that have the title "4th of July Tribute to America's Contribution to the Rock Era", or, at the bottom of the web page, there is a link that takes you to "Older Posts" in red.  This tribute will take up at least five pages--don't miss any of it!


This artist was one of those popular in the early years of the Rock Era who simply got buried by the Beatles in the 60's--no room on the playlist after playing 15 Beatles songs!  But thanks to Elton John, who had just started his own label, Rocket Records, Neil Sedaka was back in 1976:
