If you grew up in the 70's, you knew that one of the many disturbing events was the massacre of four Kent State Students by National Guardsmen during an antiwar demonstration. That event would forever shape the thoughts and political views of a generation. Stephen Stills sat down and wrote his thoughts on the tragedy, and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young recorded it just days later.
