Tribute to Glenn Frey: "Heartache Tonight"

Although the Eagles had made musical moves that greatly bolstered their standing and reputation, inner turmoil was taking its toll as well.  Bassist Randy Meisner left the group, and, just as he had done earlier in the group Poco, Timothy B. Schmit replaced Meisner in the Eagles.  Although the sound of the group's 1980 album The Long Run, surprised people, history will be kind to the album.  

The Long Run became the Eagles' fourth #1, including their greatest hits package.  Frey co-wrote "Heartache Tonight" with Don Henley, and sang lead on the group's fifth #1 song in nine releases...
