Ray Manzarek, founding member of the Doors and one of the best keyboardists of the 60's, died in Germany today after a long fight with cancer. Manzarek was 74 and had been diagnosed with bile duct cancer.
Manzarek met Jim Morrison on Venice Beach in California in 1965 and the Doors were born. The group has sold over 100 million albums worldwide.
