We started with Belinda Carlisle at #100*. Gradually, the number of quality songs continued to rise, and when we got to The Top 25* or so, it was obvious that those artists really deserved to be where they were ranked. Now, we're inside The Top 10*, and each artist is responsible for hours of great music.
We're up to #2*, and her main talent is her ability to market herself, changing direction through her material to appeal to different groups. She burst onto the scene in the 80's, and four decades later, she's still going strong.
