The Top Double-Sided Hits of the Rock Era*--Part Four

As we mentioned earlier, there are about 300 double-sided hits in the Rock Era that were more than just one smash hit backed with a filler.  The feat was tough to pull off, pretty much requiring a superstar to do it.  This is because it took an artist of that caliber to make DJ's (and fans) want to hear the other side, but also, the artists who are featured here had the quality of material in the vault to be able to release two great songs on the same single.  Out of the 300 mentioned above, we're presenting about 60 or so:

21.  "Junior's Farm"/"Sally G"--Paul McCartney & Wings

22.  "Green River"/"Commotion"--Creedence Clearwater Revival

23.  "Hello Goodbye"/"I Am The Walrus"--Beatles

24.  "Whole Lotta' Love"/"Living Loving Maid"--Led Zeppelin

25.  "Jailhouse Rock"/"Treat Me Nice"--Elvis Presley

26.  "So Far Away"/"Smackwater Jack"--Carole King

27.  "Please Please Me"/"From Me To You"--Beatles
