Calendar* Clarification: Elvis Presley's Discharge from the U.S. Army

Some websites, including the official Graceland website, inaccurately report that Elvis Presley was discharged from the Army on March 5, 1960.  He left active service at Fort Dix, New Jersey on March 5, but he was officially discharged from the Army Reserve on March 23,1964, according to the United States Army Center for Military History, the book American Military Heritage by William W. Hartzog, as well as PBS.
