Many websites incorrectly say that Manuela Testolini Nelson filed for divorce from Prince on July 28, 2006. Although the news was kept quiet, and many media outlets did not learn of the news until July 26 or July 28, Nelson filed for divorce on May 24 in Minnesota's Hennepin County District Court, according to the newspaper USA Today.
