Five Best Songs: The Rascals

Felix Cavaliere had one of the more memorable voices among lead singers of the 60's.  The Rascals had a good run of hits, and here are what I would say are their Five Best*:

1.  "Groovin'"

2.  "People Got To Be Free"

3.  "How Can I Be Sure"

4.  "Good Lovin'"

5.  "A Beautiful Morning"

Discography: Simon & Garfunkel

The classic duo put out some of the best albums ever.  Every one of their studio albums has gone platinum; of course several many times over.  Wednesday Morning 3 A.M. is the only one I wouldn't highly recommend.

1964:  Wednesday Morning 3 A.M. #30)
1966:  Sounds of Silence (#21)
Parsley, Sage, Rosemary & Thyme (#4)
1968:  Bookends (#1)
           Soundtrack to "The Graduate" (#2)
1970:  Bridge Over Troubled Water (#1)

Live Albums:
1982:  The Concert in Central Park (#6)
2002:  Live From New York City, 1967 (#165)
2004:  Old Friends:  Live on Stage (#154)
2008:  Live 1969 (#33)

Compilations:
1972:  Simon & Garfunkel's Greatest Hits (#5) --I highly recommend the Columbia Recordings box set but this is the next best collection.
1981:  Collected Works
           The Simon & Garfunkel Collection
1991:  20 Greatest Hits
1992:  The Definitive Simon & Garfunkel
1997:  Old Friends
1999:  The Best of Simon & Garfunkel (#129)
2000:  Two Can Dream Alone
Tales From New York:  The Very Best of Simon & Garfunkel
2001:  The Columbia Studio Recordings (1964-1970)
2002:  Tom and Jerry
           The Collection
2003:  The Essential (#27)
           Before the Fame
2006:  Paul Simon & Art Garfunkel
2007:  The Collection:  Simon & Garfunkel
2008:  America:  The Simon & Garfunkel Collection
