Some really great things to look forward to in the months to come on Inside the Rock Era. In February, we'll kick off The Top 100 Guitarists of the Rock Era*. It will feature not just a list like most sites do but links to YouTube videos where you can hear the guitarists wail away. If you like guitars, and it would be impossible to imagine rock music without them, this is for you. And it will be presented in the style to which you've grown accustomed to on this site.
I'm also working on The Top 100 R&B Songs of the 70's*, featuring many of the great soul songs of all-time. The 70's was a great time for soul music and it also ushered in the disco era. The Top 100 Female Artists of All-Time* is coming up also, and after that, The Top One-Hit Wonders*. Also, as we approach our one-year anniversary (March 1), I will put a tab up at the top for the Calendar (This day in Rock Music History). I will still post the daily Calendar, but beginning in March, you can easily find all the Rock Music History news in one spot.
2012 promises to be a great year on Inside the Rock Era!
