Remember that this is a ranking of the performance of artists in the 70's. It does not include the 60's, it does not include the 80's, or the 90's, and it isn't a ranking of The Top 100 Artists of All-Time. We choose our titles carefully, and the special does exactly that--it features the most successful artists from 1970-1979. Don't read anything else into it beyond that.
