Several websites report that Paul Kantner, co-founder and guitarist of Jefferson Airplane and Starship, was born on March 12, but the official website for Jefferson Airplane, as well as the book Got a Revolution!: The Turbulent Flight of Jefferson Airplane by Jeff Tamarkin and other reputable sources says Kantner was born March 17.
