Our Most Popular Regular Feature Has Been Updated

Hello lovers of great music!

Just a heads up that The Top Unknown/Underrated Songs of the Rock Era* has been updated with new YouTube videos. Now is a great time to check out all 37 pages.

So everyone understands the criteria for making this list: These include songs (whether released as singles or not) that have the quality to make the Top Ten but didn't. The special songs in the list are of many forms and got here for many reasons--they were outstanding album tracks never released as singles, or they were released but never caught on in a big way (too much outstanding competition at the time, lack of promotion by the record company, lack of enough radio station music directors with outstanding ears at the time with the courage to be bold and lead the industry by adding the song to playlists, a long song which really needed to be played in its entirety rather than being cut to 3 minutes in a time when many radio stations avoided playing songs longer than that, etc.)

Whatever the reason was for not making the Top Ten, these songs all deserve to be in this special category--they are all "Top Ten Quality", and some are amazing. We are glad to share them with you, as we know that within these 37 pages you will find some that are your favorites already and some that will become some of your new favorites of all-time. Enjoy!
