Those who have not delved deeper into the music of jazz-rock act Blood, Sweat & Tears are in for a treat. Check out their debut, featuring their great lead singer David Clayton Thomas. The album won a Grammy for Album of the Year. The entire album is tasty (not edible but pleasing to the ears!), but in addition to the singles "Spinning Wheel", "And When I Die" and "You've Made Me So Very Happy", I highly recommend "Smiling Phases", "God Bless the Child" and "Blues - Part II".
Side One: 1. "Variations on a Theme By Eric Satie" 2. "Smiling Phases" 3. "Sometimes in Winter" 4. "More and More" 5. "And When I Die" 6. "God Bless the Child"
Side Two: 1. "Spinning Wheel" 2. "You've Made Me So Very Happy" 3. "Blues - Part II" 4. "Variations on a Theme By Eric Satie"
