Over the next 24 hours, Inside the Rock Era will feature some of the great songs and artists of the last 58 years that makes up the Rock Era. You'll hear every style from rockabilly to easy listening, country-rock to disco, heavy metal to R&B. Besides the quality of music that is saluted on Independence Day, we hope you will appreciate the diverse styles. It isn't the style of music that is important, but rather the quality of that music.
