We began our popular Calendar feature when Inside The Rock Era premiered on March 16, 2011. We originally took information from other sources, but, thanks to you, have uncovered numerous mistakes from these sources (among them: MTV, Rolling Stone, About.com, and others). We have begun a major overhaul of the Calendar becomes of these errors and inexactitudes. This will take several months. If you find any on your own, we really appreciate it when you point those out in the "Comments" section.
We will post the specific corrections we are making, and will correct the Calendar posts. The following mistake with the other sources we found while researching September 12. The correct day for Garth Hudson's bankruptcy is August 12, 2001 not September 12, as widely reported.
August 12, 2001: Garth Hudson, keyboardist with the Band, filed for bankruptcy (Note: Other sources incorrectly report the date as September 12, but the first account of the bankruptcy appeared in Billboard magazine the following day, September 13.)
