We're over a month in to our latest presentation, The Top 100 Artists of the Seventies*. We hope you're enjoying the great music and stories thus far, but please do keep in mind that this is a ranking for that decade, not for all-time.
We'll be featuring a different artist per day, going into the new year. But there is much more planned in the months to come!
In February, we'll tackle The Top Love Songs of the Rock Era*. After that, it's nothing but hard work as we get ready to celebrate the 60th birthday of rock & roll. We are getting ready to update our signature music special, The Top 500 Songs of the Rock Era*, which will coincide with the 60th birthday celebration. As some of you know, we have a database of over 12,000 songs and an exclusive ranking formula to rank the songs. We are planning on putting our Top 5000 Songs of the Rock Era* (yes, 5,000--not 500) into printed form to also coincide with the celebration.
We recently updated The Top 100 Albums of the Rock Era*, and the number of great albums have dwindled mightily in recent years, so there is no need to update that. But we will present another major music special next year--The Top 100 Artists of the Rock Era*. That special is in fact a ranking of artists for 60 years--the one we are currently running is just a slice of the big one.
Stay tuned to Inside The Rock Era for these unique music specials!
