Ervin Drake, a member of the Songwriter's Hall of Fame, died January 15 from complications of bladder cancer in Great Neck, new York. Drake is famous for writing the great song "It Was A Very Good Year" for Frank Sinatra; he also wrote for Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, Diana Ross, Perry Como, Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Frankie Laine and Steve Lawrence.
Drake was 94.
