Jerry Corbetta, lead singer and keyboardist for Sugarloaf, died Friday of Picks disease, a neurological disorder that forced him to retire seven years ago.
Sugarloaf scored a big hit when their first single, "Green Eyed Lady", reached #3.
Five years later, they made a bit of a comeback when the group had the #9 hit "Don't Call Us, We'll Call You".
Corbetta was 68.
