Singing sensation Adele has set an all-time record, placing three songs in the Top 10 simultaneously this week. She is the first woman in history to accomplish the feat and one of just five artists ever. Adele joins the Beatles, who placed five songs in the Top 10 on both April 4 and April 11, 1964, and the Bee Gees (1978), Usher (2004) an Chris Brown (2008) who enjoyed three Top 10 songs simultaneously.
Fresh off her performance at the Grammys, Adele's three #1 songs all landed in Billboard's Top 10 this week. Her newest, "Set Fire To The Rain" was #2, while "Rolling in the Deep", the Record and Song of the Year, moved back up to #5 in its 59th week, and "Someone Like You" placed at #7.
Further, with her album 21 remaining at #1 for a 21st week, she overtakes Whitney Houston ("The Bodyguard" Soundtrack) for the most weeks at #1 for a female album.
