Lou Reed, an underground favorite of music fans in the 70's, has died at age 71. Reed never did hit the Top 10, but his "Walk on the Wild Side" did reach #16 in 1973. Reed had undergone a liver transplant in Chicago earlier this year, but he ended up dying of liver disease at his home in Southamtpon, New York.
