By my count, that's 35 hits for Janet, with an incredible 29 of those going Top 10 and 11 #1's in the United States.  By contrast, there were 46 released in the U.K. with only 18 reaching the Top 10 and 0 #1's.  On the R&B chart, Jackson did slightly better--47 hits, 31 Top 10 and 17 #1's.
