Hits List: Beatles

Don't try to compare the Beatles and Elvis Presley--they both dominated different periods of the Rock Era and are both legends.  Rather, just enjoy their music and know that there will never be anyone like either of those two great acts.  As unbelievable as the Hits List is for the Beatles, keep in mind that there are dozens of other songs that are among their best that were never released as singles.  Look at the first year of worldwide Beatlemania alone--1964--that's the combined careers of four or five pretty good stars.

Also note the agreement across nations across the globe on most of the Beatles' big hits, and I'm only listing the bigger music markets.  Time and time again, the Beatles hit #1 in virtually every country in the world.  This is unparalleled in music history.
